Information Osmo Opaque Stain,
Extremely weather-resistant and UV-protective wood finish for treating all your outdoor wood. Osmo Opaque Stain is a breathable and water-repellent product. After drying, this product is safe for humans, animals and plants and also suitable for treating children's toys such as play and climbing equipment, sandboxes, etc. Osmo Opaque Stain is also suitable for treating almost all your outdoor wood such as: (wooden) facades , fences, stables, chalets, fencing, garden houses, garden furniture and carports, etc., etc. The Opaque Stain is not suitable for treating terraces and decking. Osmo opaque Stain dries quickly, namely around 3 to 4 hours. This means that the wood can be treated with two layers in one day.
Waterborne Stain (Opaque),
This Osmo Opaque Stain is water-based. This ensures that the stain is easy to apply and that it is a quick-drying product. Despite this, the product provides excellent protection against water and dirt. The Stain will not flake, flake or crack. Applying a new layer to the wood is very easy, so no sanding is required.
Because this Osmo Opaque Stain is water-based, this Stain can be easily sprayed. This is an easy and quick way of applying the Stain. Please note that you always use the largest nozzle. Of course, this Opaque stain can also be applied with the following special paint rollers and/or brushes.
Available sizes: 0.75 liters and 2.5 liters
1 liter is sufficient for about 16 m2 with one layer
Type 7262 is RAL 9010 Pure White
Type 7505 is RAL 9005 Jet black
Type 7535 is RAL 7035 Light grey
Type 7716 is RAL 7016 Anthracite
Note : Raw wood, old wood or wood that has been left untreated outside often absorbs more oil and stain, so more Osmo Opaque Stain is needed than recommended.
Cloths, brushes and rollers used to apply or process this product should be rinsed with water as they pose a risk of spontaneous combustion. Therefore, always rinse the cloths with water before throwing them away.
Tip : always purchase a little more product than for the recommended square meters. You can always maintain and update the surface annually with the Opaque Stain.
Note: For surfaces that have already been treated with Osmo or with another brand or product, a test should always be made first. When renovating, the advice is always to apply a maximum of one layer.

1. Stir well before use.
2. Apply thinly in the direction of the grain of the wood to the clean, dry wood with the brushes or paint roller below.
3. Allow the first coat to dry for 3 to 4 hours with good ventilation.
4. Apply the second coat thinly, same as the first coat and let this coat dry well as well.
When renovating, applying one coat to the clean and dry wood is usually sufficient.
