Osmo Wash and Care 8016 Conditioning Concentrate

Osmo Wash and Care 8016, also known as Wisch-Fix, is a conditioning concentrate for oiled and waxed wooden floors. It contains natural soaps and conditioning ingredients that nourish the wood and help prevent the surface from drying out.
Wash and Care is primarily intended to condition the existing oil or wax finish and keep it in good condition. Regular use supports the protective properties of the existing finish and helps keep the floor easy to maintain and slip-resistant.
Please note: Osmo Wash and Care is not a powerful floor cleaner. For normal weekly cleaning, we recommend our Eco Multi Cleaner. Use Wash and Care as an additional maintenance product whenever the floor requires conditioning and nourishment.
It can also be used on oiled or waxed furniture, doors and wooden wall and ceiling panelling.

Difference between Wash and Care and Eco Multi Cleaner

Use Eco Multi Cleaner for normal weekly cleaning and for removing dirt, stains and everyday marks.
Use Osmo Wash and Care as an additional product to condition and nourish the existing oil or wax finish. It is not a replacement for an effective floor cleaner, but a maintenance product that supports the existing protection.
Use both products separately. Never mix Osmo Wash and Care with other cleaning products.

How to apply Osmo Wash and Care

First remove dust and loose dirt with a vacuum cleaner, soft broom or dust mop. If necessary, clean a dirty floor with Eco Multi Cleaner first and allow the surface to dry completely.
Add one capful of Wash and Care (15 ml) to 2 litres of clean water. Apply the solution evenly with a suitable mop, ensuring that the floor is only slightly damp. Use as little water as possible and do not allow puddles to remain on the floor.
Allow the surface to dry completely and provide adequate ventilation.

Machine application

Apply a small amount of the diluted solution using a suitable spray bottle. Work it into the floor with a single-disc machine, such as the Osmo FloorXcenter, fitted with a white pad.
Remove any remaining moisture with a clean microfibre pad and always use as little moisture as possible.

Additional maintenance for worn areas

For dull areas and light wear, we recommend Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner.
If the protective finish is severely worn, a new thin coat of Osmo Polyx-Oil may be required. If in doubt, test the product on an inconspicuous area first.
