Brushes and rollers for an even finish
Good application tools help you apply oils, hardwax oils, lacquers and wood stains thinly and evenly. This category contains professional brushes, paint rollers, roller sets, floor brushes, paint trays, roller frames and other application tools for wooden floors, furniture, worktops and exterior wood.
Always select a brush or roller that is suitable for the product you intend to use. The correct choice depends on the type and viscosity of the finish, the surface and the required application rate. Always follow the processing instructions shown on the relevant product page.
Paint rollers and complete roller sets
A suitable paint roller is often the quickest way to apply a thin and even coat to a large, flat surface.
The Osmo Roller Set Large 25 cm is a practical choice for floors and other wide surfaces. For furniture, worktops, doors, stair treads and smaller areas, choose the Osmo Roller Set Small 10 cm.
This category also includes:
-
Replacement rollers in 10 and 25 cm widths
-
Roller frames and telescopic handles
-
Small and large paint trays
-
Disposable paint-tray liners
-
Complete roller sets
-
Buckets for oils and lacquers
-
Cotton cloths for removing excess product
Do not use a coarse wall-paint roller to apply an oil or hardwax oil. An unsuitable roller may release too much product, leave fibres behind or create an uneven finish.
Brushes for edges, corners and smaller surfaces
A suitable brush provides greater control along edges, in corners, around profiles and in places that are difficult to reach with a roller. View the Osmo special brushes or our Tisa Line flat brushes.
Different brush widths allow you to match the tool to the project. A smaller brush provides greater control for detailed work, while a wider brush makes larger areas quicker to complete.
Floor brushes for wooden floors
The Osmo Floor Brush can be used for the manual application and distribution of suitable oils and hardwax oils on wooden floors.
A floor brush helps spread the product thinly in the direction of the wood grain. It is particularly practical around edges or when you prefer to apply the finish with a brush. Always check that the selected brush is compatible with the product being used.
Brushes for decking and exterior wood
For decking oils, exterior wood stains and other outdoor finishes, use application tools suitable for planks, grooves and profiled wood. The Osmo Decking Brush Set contains the tools required to distribute decking oil thinly and controllably.
Work along the length of the decking boards and complete only a few boards at a time. Spread the product carefully and prevent thick coats or pools of product from collecting in grooves and joints.
