Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit with Teak-Oil Spray 008

Refresh a weathered wooden table, chair or bench with the Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit. It combines a treatment for greyed wood with an oil finish, plus accessories for preparing and treating the surface.

This version includes Teak-Oil Spray 008 in a 400 ml aerosol can.

What is included?

• 500 ml Osmo Wood Reviver Power-Gel 6609 to remove the grey patina.

• 400 ml Osmo Teak-Oil Spray 008 Clear to re-oil the wood.

• A stiff cleaning brush.

• A 50 mm flat brush.

• A sanding fleece.

Suitable furniture and finish

Use the kit to refresh teak and other suitable hardwood garden furniture. Osmo recommends Teak-Oil Spray for furniture in covered outdoor areas.

The clear oil provides a water- and dirt-repellent finish while keeping the grain visible. 008 Clear does not protect against UV-induced greying.

Remove old paint and varnish before treatment. Always test both products on an inconspicuous area first.

How to use the kit

1. Remove loose dirt and dampen the greyed wood with water. Protect fittings, plants and sensitive surrounding surfaces.

2. Apply Wood Reviver Power-Gel along the grain. It is ready to use: do not dilute.

3. Leave for approximately 20 minutes, scrub with the stiff brush and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

4. Allow the wood to dry completely before oiling. This normally takes around 24–48 hours, with longer drying times in cool or humid conditions.

5. Shake the aerosol well. Spray from approximately 25 cm, work the oil in with a brush and wipe away excess with a cloth.

6. Allow approximately 12 hours to dry with good ventilation. Apply a second coat for an initial treatment. One coat is usually sufficient when refreshing a suitable existing oil finish.

Safe handling

Wear suitable gloves and eye protection when using the wood reviver. The spray is an extremely flammable aerosol: keep it away from heat, sparks and flames. Do not smoke or breathe spray mist.

Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Protect the can from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C. Oil-soaked cloths can self-ignite: wash them out immediately or store in an airtight container as directed by the manufacturer.
